There and Back: Friendship Quilts Blog Hop

Remember when you were a kid at summer camp? You'd go hiking canoeing, sailing, have spaghetti eating contests (yes that is me back in 1986) and of course, you'd make friendship bracelets. I had tons of friendship bracelets, because I went to camp every year. Usually a camp smack in the middle of the Canadian Rockies where we learned mountaineering, hiking, orienteering, archery, wilderness survival, canoeing and how to be an all-around outdoors lover. As I got older though, maybe 15-ish, I started going to a sailing camp, where obviously, I learned how to sail. Both great experiences, and I have so many wonderful fun memories.

So when Diane asked if I'd like to be in the Friendship Quilts Blog Hop, I was all over it. I've been pouring over sites and pictures, looking at different friendship bracelets, camps, remembering the fun I had summers as a kid. Man, this blog hop is going to be awesome!
