Parade Day

Everybody loves a parade, right? I decided that there's no reason to close the linky after 24 hours, so I'll now be keeping the linky open for the entire weekend. Don't forget to check back to see the other blogs linked up!

So, it's Friday,  the day I get to see what you've all been working on. As seems to be the case lately, I don't have much that I can show. I just keep working away on semi-secret projects and not much else is getting any attention. I've hand quilted most of a 50" square quilt this week, I"ll give you a little peek..... One day soon I will have an actual project with an actual finish that I can share. I promise!

Now it's your turn to show off your projects!

I just ask a few things of you:
1. link only projects with some handstitching
2. link to a specific post
3. use the linky party button (found in my sidebar) in your post, so others can easily find the party and join in
4. visit other Handmade Parade partiers, because everyone likes comments :-)
.....and go!

  1. i have nothing to enter but your hand stitching is lovely!

  2. Beautiful hand stitching and I love those gnomes!

  3. I love the handstiching with that fabric. I am so looking foward to that fabric coming out,it is like being on pins and needles!!

  4. Gosh I love that fabric!! Great hand stiching! =D

  5. oh, loving the sneak peak! So glad you are leaving the linky open all weekend, now I might have a chance of getting in more often! Ha, but probably not this week. I need some hand stitching gnomes to visit my house in the night to help with my modern medallion quilt...

  6. Love Winterkist and your stitching!

  7. Thanks for extending the link parade. Now I'll be able to link up more often, instead of forgetting or being busy until after it closes :)

Love your sneak peek. I'm looking forward to this line being released next month. I have plans for it and will probably cut into my sizeable order as soon as I get it. In the mean time, I need to get my ideas out of my head and onto paper to see if they work. See? I can be sneaky and secretive too ;)

  8. Oh Katie! Your Gnoma looks great! You'll have to share your needle turn applique tips with me, because I could use some help. :)

  9. Oh wow, I can't wait to see the rest of that quilt! It's adorable. the handquilting is fantastic of course. Hope we get to see it soon!!

  10. Can't wait to see the rest of your quilt. I really need to start thinking about Christmas sewing, but with it still over 110 here most days, it's not very motivating. But maybe a snowflake print or two along with the AC will make me feel cooler?
