Stitch Swap

As soon as I got my partner assignment in Wild Olive's first ever stitch swap I started stitching. My partner lives far away, like on another continent type far away, so I think mail might take a little longer between us. I thought it best to get this done and in the mail quick quick! She said she liked all things nautical. I didn't want to go with a ship or compass, that seemed too cliche, so I decided on a jellyfish. The pattern came in the mail the very same day I got my partner assignment, so I think it was meant to be! I hope she enjoys this little guy as much as I enjoyed making it.

  3. So cool! I love the little French knots that look like bubbles, they really add a feeling of movement. Good for you for getting this jellyfish stitched up so quickly so it can travel to far away places!

  5. That is so freaking awesome! I'm completely terrified of jelly fish, but I wouldn't be if they were this cute in real life.

  6. Katie - I'm trying to track down a copy of this pattern. The link to etsy no longer works. Can you help? Thanks!

    1. I just tried the link and had no problem, I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you. However if you search for an Etsy shop called "Sew Lovely Embroidery" you'll find the pattern there.
