snap to it

Sometimes you come across a project and you just have to drop everything and make it. On Tuesday, Aneela Hooey released her Project Book Pouch pattern. On Thursday, I have one of my very own. Finished. And in use.

Project Book Pouch

Project Book Pouch

This baby has pockets for everything. Pattern sheets, hoops, journals, projects (duh), needles, thread, scissors. Anything you might need for a handstitching project will fit into this cute and oh-so-simple little folder. I can hardly wait to take it out on a road trip! Load me up!!

Perfect Quilted Tote

Oh look, it fits perfectly in my Perfect Quilted Tote! Now I just need somewhere to go.....

  6. That's such a cool idea! And I love the fabrics and trim you chose. I've been thinking of trying to make something like this for my sister's violin music.

Do you know Kollabora, the online crafters' community? We've been looking for quilting inspiration lately, but I'm especially interested in projects that involve quilting but aren't quilts. I'd like to see more of our members making things like these. Maybe you could join and share pictures of them?
