I worked on a bee block for Charlotte
Made and machine stitched the binding on 3 farmer's wife potholders.
Got a great start on my Out to Sea quilt. Super simple blocks - it doesn't get much easier than 3.5" squares made up into 16 patches.
A stack of partial blocks.
It's been so long since I've been to an all day retreat, that I'd forgotten just how much can be accomplished when you just sit down and sew. No lunch or dinner to make. No laundry to fold, no dishes to wash.
When's the next one????
Wow looks like you had a very productive day indeed! The block looks so great with those shades!
ReplyDeleteLoving the out to see quilt progress! =D
Katie, I was delighted to meet you in person! You were certainly productive! I love that Sarah Jane fabric and was happy to see it in real life. I agree, sign me up for the next retreat!

ReplyDeleteI am AMAZED at how much you ladies accomplished at that retreat! I saw Felicity's post too. Wow! Maybe one day I'll get over there too.
