Have you heard about the
100 Day Hustle, hosted by Kelsey? As of today, there are
one hundred days to the end of the year. Yes, I whispered that part, I didn't want to startle you with how quickly it's coming. Kelsey has challenged us to come up with a list of projects to get done in the next 100 days, and then of course we're actually supposed to work on those projects. Hmmm. She's got prizes lined up, linky parties and people to share their progress. It should be a great way to challenge and inspire each other!
I have a few tops that I need to get onto quilting and since machine quilting is my least favourite part of it, I tend to put it off
until the end of time for as long as possible. *sigh* I WILL get them done!
Out to Sea
Tula Pink's Field Study
Handpieced Sampler
FW potholders
Proverbial quilt binding. Yes, that's the only thing done so far!
Katie, I love you for showing me this. I neeeed to do this. My least favorite part is sandwiching the quilt....so that's why I have a pile of 7 tops waiting on this step. I'm in.
ReplyDeletep.s. your projects, as usual, are all going to be super awesome.
This is such a great idea -- I'm so glad Kelsey thought of this. Your projects look great, Katie!
ReplyDeleteLOve everything you are working on, especially that Out To Sea Quilt. You can do it!
ReplyDeleteYour Tula Pink quilt is so pretty! I love the quilting part, but I agree with Marian, sandwiching the quilt is no fun (a least for me since I can't kneel at the moment).
ReplyDeleteAll your projects look great. I'm with you on not enjoying machine quilting! I need to win the lottery so I can pay someone to do it for me:) Good luck with the hustle!
ReplyDeleteGosh I need to join in with that! Working makes sewing much harder!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your list of things done well before the 10o days =D
You've got some great projects there, looking forward to seeing how your hustle goes.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be there to cheer you on, you have some fantastic wips here.
ReplyDeleteAll of your projects are awesome! Love that Tula :) Thanks for joining in!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I can just see the rest of the year getting filled up with things to do and it would be good to get a jump on some of them. I love your hand stitched sampler!
ReplyDeleteI love that fabric with the pears! :) Good luck with your list!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your list. It look as though you have plenty to do as well!
