Not only is it absolutely full of beautiful pictures, the recipes are well laid out, with plenty of instruction for even a novice home baker to turn out gorgeous and delicious treats!
A delicious and deceptively easy seven layer cake....
Mini blueberry-white chocolate cheesecake
Italian peach cookies
Almond and hazelnut nougat
I had an incredibly difficult time deciding what to make first. In the end, I went for a simple "torta all' arancia" yup, that's "orange cake" in Italian.
I was so impressed with this light-as-air cake. Not only was it incredibly easy to make, but the results were mega-good! There is even a recipe for an orange syrup to pour over the top, but the cake would also be wonderful with a bit of powdered sugar or some lightly sweetened whipped cream.
So, will I be baking from this book again? Yes. Will it be yummy? YES!
mmmm. what fun! The desserts look delish!
