So anyone who knows me knows that I like to buy stuff. I'm not a hoarder, yet, but I like stuff. A couple of years ago I bought 3 charm packs of Urban Chicks's Swell fabric. It was on sale, and oh, how I loved it! I had no idea what I was going to do with it, but that wasn't the point. Well, NOW I know!
Anne Marie is hosting a nine-patch challenge. The idea is to use fabric you already have. Yeah, I can do that.
Interestingly, my daughter and I are getting ready to make a mini nine patch quilt which will be fun since we've never quilted before. But that's not why I'm here. What a pleasant surprise to see your comment on my blog! You've been in my prayers for quite awhile now and I'm so pleased to read about you and your husband going for counseling! It won't be easy but I'm so glad, especially the fact that you are happy about this. I will pray for you both. May God bless your time together and give you both what you need to heal.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I love this fabric! Have fun with it! Oh, about the yak sweater - no it doesn't smell yakkish (thankfully) it truly is beautiful and warm, does not itch at all like other wool does. I love it, just wish it didn't shed!
Hugs from your friend, Kate
Oh, I like those colors! What a great challenge to undertake!!! Good luck! We're cheering you on!!!
